The Peter Wolters brand has been established for centuries in the market for high-performance precision machines and systems for surface finishing of various materials. Our products are used successfully wherever the highest demands on surface quality, plane parallelism, flatness and dimensional accuracy have to be efficiently implemented. We have extensive experience and expertise in many industries, from custom and series production to small companies and international corporations.

In 2019, Precision Surfacing Solutions bought the following division from Meyer Burger: wafer systems and service business for photovoltaic and special materials.

Our company in Gwatt, Switzerland has specialized in the development and manufacture of machines for cutting hard and brittle materials for decades. Our products are known for their durability, precision and low operating costs in daily use. Since 2019 we have been part of the Precision Surfacing Solutions Group, a global leader in systems and services for grinding, lapping, polishing and honing processes.
